Watched along with Family the FIFA World Cup 2018 Group D Asian Football Confederation qualifier between India and Asian soccer powerhouse IRAN on Sept 08 th 2015 at Sri Kanteerava stadium Bangalore India. Though India lost 0-3 it was worth to see the brave efforts of the Indian defender Sandesh Jhingan mainly the superb and memorable defencive header which denied a sure goal to the Iranian captain Andranik Teymourian. Hoping to see Indian football reach great heights some day. Was a great display from the Iranian team especially from Captain Andranik Teymourian. Hoping to see them at the Fifa World Cup 2018 in Russia. |
