Heavens Above - Capturing a wanderer

Their appearance with myth's and superstitions, comets' has always been a wonderful but rare sight in the night sky. But really their wonderful sight throws light on the GLORY of GOD Spreading throughout the UNIVERSE.

Was able to capture one moment in Jan 2015.C/2014 Q2 (Lovejoy) which is visible from earth from December 2014 to February 2015 is a long-period comet discovered on 17 August 2014 by Australian astronomer Terry Lovejoy. It was discovered at apparent magnitude 15 in the southern constellation of Puppis and is the fifth comet discovered by Terry Lovejoy. The pictures below of the comet were taken by Me at two different times from IRVING TEXAS, USA  on the night of 26 January 2015 with a 10 inch dobsonian telescope. The bottom most image is a slight enlargement of the image on the top left.

Comet Lovejoy will visit us again in 8000 years!!!!!!!!!
